The more the merrier

Posted On :22/10/2008
And you thought no smoking meant no clubbing? The puff ban came into effect on October 2, and twenty days later, Kolkata's night owls were spotted painting the town red with their dance moves. Meet the party people who hit the floor on Saturday night.
Riya Sen.
Riya Sen was among Kolkata's Saturday night revellers.
Bengali belle Riya Sen dropped by at Roxy for some M.Mat magic on Saturday night. Looking pretty in a black strappy top and jeans, she walked in a little after midnight and partied late into the night.

DJ M.Mat of Vavishyavani Future Soundz was the star performer at The Park’s hot hangout.

Underground

Put your hands up in the air! Party people danced the night away at Underground.

It began with retro numbers, moved to funky hip-hop and peaked with Bolly beats.

Soho
As many as five groups of youngsters celebrated their friends’ birthdays at Soho on Saturday.

The drink of the moment was tequila. That explains these energetic moves to Rise Up and Bachna Ae Haseeno.

Shisha

This gang at Shisha chose the couch over the dance floor to while away the night with yummy platters and lots of beer for company.

Or were they just gaining the energy to dance it away after prying eyes left them alone?

At Shisha, DJ Girish D was in charge.

He brought the house down with numbers like Madonna’s 4 Minutes (new mix), What Planet U On, Rihanna’s Disturbia and Take Away by Sebastian Leger.

Underground

This pretty lady let her sultry moves do the talking at Underground!

At the console, it was DJ Anshul who rocked the crowd with house and psychedelic music.
