The plot: It’s a love story about a pizza delivery boy (Dev) and an aspiring doctor (Koel), spiced up with comic misunderstandings.
Though it all ends on a happy note, the beginning is anything but sweet. For starters, boy and girl bump into each other everywhere — college campus, South City Mall and even in north Bengal — but cupid just refused to strike. Girl’s father (Sabyasachi) thinks there’s something cooking between the two when he spots Koel giving Dev a lift on her Scooty. Daddy dear, a tough cop by profession, promptly fixes her marriage. The groom is Tota, another no-nonsense cop. Shocked by the turn of events, Koel goes crying to Dev and the guilt-stricken boy decides to foil the wedding plans. He pretends to be Koel’s boyfriend, for Tota’s eyes only. But a do-gooder that he is, Tota not only buys Dev’s story he also makes them go in for a registry marriage. His wedding gift is a flat for the two to start their marital life! But instead of cosying up, the newly-weds bay for each other’s blood. By then you know it’s a matter of minutes before they will fall in love...
Watch out for: Dev’s cool dude act, which he gets right yet again, and the bubbly, chirpy Koel. Music director Jeet Gannguli adds zing with the peppy and foot-tapping
Le paglu track, among others. The song sequences shot abroad are eye-catching.
