Dil Bole Hadippa: Preview

Dil Bole Hadippa pairs Shahid Kapoor with Rani Mukherjee for the first time in a hide-and-seek of romance, passion and dreams. With this new film, Rani makes a comeback after a long hiatus.

Veera (Rani) is a village girl who works with a local theatre group but is passionate about playing cricket in the big league. While Veera dreams on in an Indian village, Rohan (Shahid) is the captain of a county cricket team in England. The twist comes when Veera turns Veer Pratap Singh to fulfill her dreams and kick starts her training under Rohan who returns to India to captain his father’s cricket team. A roller-coaster journey filled with music, romance and comedy leads to the climax.

Pritam’s music is a definite plus for the film. From “Hadippa” to “Ishq hi hai Rab,” the numbers are set to burn up the dance floor.

Dil Bole Hadippa has already been selected for the Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF) 2009. A special premier, attended by the cast and crew of the film, was held on 13 September.

The movie is slated for its pan-India release on 18 September.
