Sandip Ray’s much-awaited Hit List is a new age psychological thriller set in an advertising agency. It all begins when a clique of senior employees of the agency – Jayanto, Shubhodeep, Kamalika and her husband – begin misappropriating company funds. Somehow, their goings-on raise the suspicions of colleague Ranojoy, who reveals these misgivings to his wife.

Some time passes, and the charming Anindita joins the agency as Shubhodeep’s assistant. Soon after, an employee of the agency is found dead in his apartment. Ex-homicide detective Prabhat Banerjee takes up the case.

Danger seems near when an international shoot takes the team to Malaysia. There, a thrilling and mysterious climax leads to an unexpected ending.
