Sharad Yadav claimed that CRPF were deployed in Parliament during ruckus in RS.
New Delhi, 10 Mar: JD(U) leader Sharad Yadav today claimed that CRPF personnel were deployed in Parliament during the ruckus in the Rajya Sabha over the Women's Reservation Bill and condemned the move.

"I condemn the deployment of CRPF personnel in Parliament. This is not done," Yadav, a key opponent of the bill that was passed by RS yesterday, told reporters.

According to Yadav, CRPF personnel were present inside and outside the House yesterday. "I was shocked to know from the administration section of Parliament that CRPF was used to throw out members from the House," he said.

Marshals were deployed in the Rajya Sabha to control unruly members protesting against the measure. Seven MPs, who were suspended over their behaviour, were marshalled out of the House after which the debate on the bill was taken up.

BJP leader Kirti Azad also alleged that CRPF commandos were inside the House yesterday.

Paramilitary forces should be deployed in the Naxal-hit areas and not in Parliament, Azad said.
