India unveils eco-friendly hydrogen-powered vehicles |
| India may soon have vehicles emitting no
pollution. This is because new eco-friendly three wheelers powered by
non-polluting hydrogen have come up in the Indian market. India's Minister
of New and Renewable energy, Farooq Abdullah unveiled them on the sidelines
of the three-day World Hydrogen Technologies Convention being held at India
Habitat Centre in New Delhi on Wednesday. |

Sanjana Jon asks New Delhi to seek his extradition |
| Disgraced fashion designer Anand Jon's sister
appealed to the Indian government to seek his extradition from the US on
Tuesday. The US-based Anand Jon, a rising designer who had dressed
socialite Paris Hilton and singer Janet Jackson before his arrest last
year, faces possible life imprisonment after a Los Angeles Superior Court
jury found him guilty on 16 criminal counts. Anand’s sister Sanjana termed

SRK’s detention a routine formality: US Customs |

Protection Force officials said Sunday that Bollywood actor Shahrukh Khan
was detained under a routine formality and the delay happened more due to
his misplaced baggage. Khan’s detention for about two hours early Saturday
shocked most in India and the USA. Shahrukh, one of India's best-known
actors, was enroute to Chicago to attend a South Asian event as part of the
