| Oscar winning Hollywood actor Nicole Kidman arrived in Udaipur on Monday. Kidman came to the city renowned for its palaces, temples and gardens to shoot some scenes for her forthcoming movie, The Eighth Wonder, which is based on archaeological discovery. Kidman is supposed to stay in Udaipur's Lake Palace Hotel, situated in the middle of Lake Pichola. However, hotel officials denied any reservations in the name of Kidman. | |

| Tata Motors commercially launched its people's car, Nano, on Monday promising to stick to the Rs 1,00,000 price tag for the base model. Chairman Ratan Tata added that the endeavor was never to build the cheapest car but to provide an affordable means of transportation. | The well-laid picturesque Mughal Gardens in the Indian Presidential Palace is open for public display this year from February 7 to March 10. The Mughal Gardens, adjacent to the main building of the President's House, covers an area of 15 acres. This year's theme is roses and the garden has about 125 varieties of the flower. | Three buses were burnt and other vehicles damaged as Trinamool Congress-backed auto-rickshaw operators turned to violence following the High Court ban on two-stroke auto-rickshaws.
