Salman and B'wood divas |

It was a starry night as top B'wood actors walked the ramp for Salman's charity, 'Being Human'. From Katrina to Priyanka to the Kapoor sisters, the divas, dressed in outfits from different eras, scorched the ramp. The show whose theme was 'Fashion through the ages' was also attended by Sushmita Sen, Rani Mukherjee, Bipasha Basu, Preity Zinta & Saif Ali Khan among others.

Security arrangements beefed up in WB |

To provide safety during Durga Puja & Deepavali, security has been beefed up in Siliguri and other districts of the state. Movement of people and vehicles are being closely monitored, Superintendent of Police of Siliguri has informed. He also mentioned that security network in Siliguri, Jalpaiguri and Bagdogra have been integrated. The steps have been taken to prevent any untoward incident during the festivals.

Gill slams media for criticizing CWG preps |
| Sports Minister MS Gill on Friday criticized the media for portraying the Commonwealth Games' preparations negatively. Gill demanded to know why the media did not deliver positive coverage of the Games, adding that the world was pleased with the way India organized them. Meanwhile, Gill also appreciated India's performance at the CWG. He added that India stood a chance of winning the maximum number of medals in the Games. |
