Though the Supreme Court on Wednesday upheld his conviction, it has reduced the death sentence to life imprisonment. The Delhi High Court had earlier convicted the accused and pronounced a death sentence. The decision of the SC comes as a blow to Mattoo's supporters who were expecting a death sentence. | |
