	Priyadarshini Mattoo killer escapes death
	Santosh Kumar Singh, convicted of murder and rape of Priyadarshini Mattoo, has managed to escape death. Though the Supreme Court on Wednesday upheld his conviction, it has reduced the death sentence to life imprisonment. The Delhi High Court had earlier convicted the accused and pronounced a death sentence. The decision of the SC comes as a blow to Mattoo's supporters who were expecting a death sentence.

	La Marts students support arrested principal
	Students of La Martiniere School have come out in support of their principal, Sunirmal Chakraborty who was arrested recently. Chakraborty was arrested on the charges of abetment to suicide of 13 year old Rouvanjit Rawla. The class VIII student hanged himself on 12 Feb 2010, allegedly after being canned by the principal. Students and parents however, feel disheartened by the arrest.
