| Tata group chairman Ratan Tata on Friday finally decided to pull out from the Nano car plant from Singur in West Bengal because of continuing political opposition. Ratan Tata met West Bengal Chief Minister Buddhadeb Bhattacharjee, but the meeting failed to convince Tata to stay on.
