| Proceedings in the Parliament were disrupted on Thursday which marked the third successive day of protests. The reason: Food prices. Protests by the opposition erupted as the two houses assembled at 11 a.m. Failing to restore order, the proceedings were adjourned till 12 noon by Lok Sabha Speaker Meira Kumar and Rajya Sabha Chairman Hamid Ansari. However, pandemonium continued even after reassembling due to which both houses were adjourned for the day after government papers were tabled. | |
