PM's security responsible for Aman’s death?
VVIP security in India is often at the centre of criticism for causing distress and trouble to common people. This time, security for none other than prime minister Manmohan Singh is being held responsible for the death of 8-year-old Aman Khan from Kanpur. The family of the deceased have alleged that roadblocks erected for the PM’s visit to Kanpur city prevented them from taking the terminally ill boy to hospital in time. In a letter to UPA chairperson Sonia Gandhi, Aman’s mother alleged that inhuman behaviour of the police caused the death of her son.
