TMC’s rally in memory of its martyrs was attended by all the leaders of the party including TMC matriarch and Railway Minister Mamata Banerjee, Partha Chatterjee, MPs Kabir Suman, Tapas Paul and Shatabdi Roy. Also present at the rally were many intellectuals including writer Mahashweta Devi and Suvaprasanna. The rally disrupted traffic for about five hours and traffic police had a hard time managing the situation. An ILK report.
