Several films based on the historic Taj Mahal have been made earlier by many directors and soon Ben Kingsley will be following suit. Kingsley will be making a film on the Taj Mahal with Aishwarya Rai Bachchan playing the role of Mumtaz Mahal. Kingsley, who has earlier played Mahatma Gandhi in Richard Attenborough’s Gandhi, will himself portray the role of Shah Jahan in the film.
