Come 25 January 2010 and book lovers will have an additional treat at the 34th Kolkata Book Fair. In a bid to encourage book sales, the Publishers and Booksellers Guild has a special offer for Kolkata’s bibliophiles. Visitors buying books worth a minimum of Rs 200 would have their 5-rupee ticket refunded. The gimmick is aimed at proving that people visit the Book Fair drawn by the appeal of books.
