Mamata challenges Maoists
While flagging of six trains from Howrah railway station on Wednesday, Trinamool Congress chief and Railway Minister Mamata Banerjee challenged Maoists to stop sabotage of trains and come out in the open and fight politically. The rebels, who claim to be fighting for the rights of poor and marginal farmers and landless labourers are expanding their influence in the rural areas of east, central and southern India.
