Shyam Benegal’s ‘Well Done Abba’ is the story of Armaan Ali, the driver of an executive in Mumbai. Ali is threatened with the prospect of being sacked because of the long leave he took to find a husband for his teenage daughter. But the driver persuades his boss to listen to the reason for his delay and the story he relates is delightful, hilarious and poignant. The film stars Boman Irani, Minissha Lamba, Sameer Dattani, Ila Arun, Yashpal Sharma and Sonali Kulkarni. The music has been composed by Shantanu Moitra. A video report.
