PM holds meeting to end Kashmir protests
Prime Minister Manmohan Singh held an emergency meeting with political leaders to defuse a land row over a Hindu shrine in Kashmir. Singh’s Congress led coalition government met with the host of political parties, including its main opposition Bharatiya Janata Party.
