With ‘Chhath Puja’ round the corner, music companies work hard while recording studios and music stores make merry in Patna, to record traditional songs for the festival, which is to be celebrated on November 04. The people in Bihar and some parts of Uttar Pradesh celebrate the festival. Traditional music forms an integral part of this festival and the music companies have cashed in heavily on this by churning out cassettes and CD's in large numbers.
