Ancient hot water springs under threat
Increasing human activities are posing a threat to the hot water sulphur springs located in and around the ancient Vashisht Rishi temple in Himachal Pradesh. The hot water sulphur springs along the temple are situated on the bank of River Beas at an altitude of 2,100 metres in Vashisht village near the hilly town of Manali.
