Aishwarya Rai Bachchan termed her stint opposite Steve martin in The Pink Panther 2 ‘great’. Comparing the Hollywood production to Dostana-starring husband Abhishek- she emphasized that both are ‘fun’ movies and meant to be enjoyed in that right. The former Miss World plays a detective in the new film about the clumsy French policeman Inspector Clouseau, played by Martin. Based on the 1964 original starring Peter Sellers, the film’s 2006 version saw singer Beyonce Knowles star opposite Steve Martin.
