On Tuesday, the Alexandrov Academic Song and Dance Ensemble of the Russian Army performed at the Science City Auditorium. Promoted by the Indian Council of Cultural Relations and Consulate General of the Russian Federation in India, the ensemble is currently on its first tour to India from 25 November to 5 December. To epitomise Russia’s rich cultural heritage, the ensemble rendered its popular music and dance numbers in a medley of military songs and spectacular dance performances. An ILK report.
