Kashmir Tulips set to flood national markets
Tulips from Kashmir are all set to flood national markets. The government is encouraging their commercial plantation with the hope of boosting local economy and generating employment for the local youth. A pilot project for this purpose has been started by the Floriculture Department in Srinagar's Famous Tulip Gardens on an experimental basis. Tulips grown here will be available in various markets across the country.
