Celebrating with carols
On Saturday, the 13th of December, students of Calcutta School of Music presented their Christmas concert. The Calcutta Chamber Orchestra started off the programme with a series of wonderful Christmas carols. But the performances of the junior choirs were something to watch out for. The tiny tots dressed in red, smartly wore their Santa caps and sang to the likes of ‘Johnny Miller’ and ‘Jingle Bells’. Equally good were the young synthesizer, violin, guitar and piano players and the little percussionists with their tambourines and triangles. An ILK Report.
