The ICCR organised an exhibition called ‘The Parade of Peoples’ which showcased artifacts, photographs, traditional clothes and utensils of the Russian Empire. The exhibition was inspired by the idea that no race can achieve self-awareness without achieving an awareness of other races. Apart from the exhibits like ornaments, cult objects, silk fabrics and copper utensils, there was a continuous slide show based on unique collections of nineteenth and early twentieth century ethnographic photographs.
