SC ban on plastic gutka-pan masala bags |

The Supreme Court has declared a ban on the use of plastic bags for gutka, pan masala and tobacco related products. The apex court has directed the government to implement the ban by March 2011. The decision which is unwelcome by gutka manufacturers will require the latter to come up with new packing materials for their products.
