England contingent to move in to Games Village |
| England CWG contingent will start moving out from the hotel and in to the Games Village by today. Craig Hunter, the Chef de Mission of England's CWG team, expressed satisfaction over the ongoing work and asserted that the Games village was ready for accommodation. The England team arrived in New Delhi on Friday even as a massive clean-up operation continued at the Village.

First look of 'Guzaarish' unveiled |
| Hrithik and Aishwarya have paired up once again. This time it's for Sanjay Leela Bhansali's ‘Guzaarish’. The first look for the movie was revealed in Mumbai recently. In the film, Hrithik plays a paraplegic magician while Aishwarya plays the role of a nurse who is estranged from her husband. Withdraw anti-terror law from Kashmir: CPI |
| Ardhendu Bhushan Bardhan, general secretary of CPI has called for an immediate withdrawal of the anti-terror law from Kashmir. Bardhan maintained that revocation of AFSPA was the only way to restore normalcy in the valley. Bardhan also criticised the CWG organisers over the corruption scandal. |

'Dus Tola': First look unveiled |
| B'wood actor Manoj Bajpai will be seen in a new comedy 'Dus Tola' playing the role of a goldsmith. The actor was spotted recently in Mumbai at the unveiling of the film’s first look. Also present at the event were actor Aarti Chhabria and director Ajoy. 'Dus Tola' also stars veteran Marathi theatre actor Dilip Prabahvalkar, Siddharth Makkar, Govind Namdeo, Asrani, and newcomer Pallavi Sharda.

More personnel deployed for CWG |
| As athletes from various countries start to come in, security has been tightened further. More than thousand security personnel were deployed around the Games venues on Friday. Paramilitary troops and heavily armed commandoes have cast a tight security net around the Jawaharlal Nehru stadium, where the opening and closing ceremony would be held for the October 3-14 Games. |

Malaika to endorse 'Zandu Balm' |

According to the settlement, Munni alias Malaika Arora Khan will now have to promote the brand Zandu Balm. Foot overbridge falls near main CWG stadium |
| In a major embarrassment for organisers of the Commonwealth Games, an hanging foot over-bridge collapsed outside the Jawaharlal Nehru stadium, the main venue of the Commonwealth Games, injuring 27 labourers. The incident happened on a day international officials termed the Games Village ‘filthy and unliveable’ and bluntly told the organisers to sort out the mess within 24 hours. |
