NRIs make a beeline for heritage property
Non-resident Indians are trying to relocate their roots in India by investing in heritage properties in Rajasthan. According to the sources from the industry, in the last three years crores of rupees have been pumped to the state which has been a reservoir of thousands of such properties lying abandoned. An old fort in the Alwar district of Rajasthan waited for a long period for its renovation till a France based NRI invested in this property.
